Xenophon was chosen again to be one of the charities to operate the concession stand at Golden Gate Fields’ Dollar Days. We provide 10 volunteers to sell $1.00 hotdogs, soda and beer. In exchange, we are given a donation by Golden Gate Fields. It was a gorgeous day at the race track, with many hungry and thirsty people. We were kept busy all day pouring beer and serving up hot dogs. We were not so busy that we couldn’t slip out to watch a race or two and even place a small bet. It was a fun day spent with great people. Thank you to all the volunteers who came out to work. Come and join us next time!
