Xenophon Therapeutic Riding Center is located in Orinda, CA, twenty miles east of San Francisco. Xenophon’s mission is to enrich the lives of children and adults with disabilities through high quality programs of equine-assisted activities and therapies.
To accomplish the mission of enriching the lives pf children and adults with disabilities we offer:
Adaptive Riding, coached and supported by Certified Therapeutic Riding Instructors, (PATH Certified).
Pediatric Therapeutic Services, including Physical Therapy and Occupational Therapy, utilizing the horse as a therapeutic tool.
Ground work with veterans and adults, to support building a bond of strength and compassion between human and horse.
Community support and training through the detailed and thoughtful training of all of our volunteers.
Conscientious herd management.
